Smart marketers use the bounce codes to determine hard or soft bounces, resend soft bounces, prune out hard bounced addresses, and reach out to constituents with hard bounces to get updated contact information. Without this vital piece of information, made available to other Blackbaud email products, our email lists grow increasingly outdated and ultimately damage our email spam rating.
