Unable to mark receipts as unreceipted in NXT

I am unable to mark receipts as unreceipted in NXT, which prevents me from pulling a PDF to manually send receipts to our donors. Even when marked as unreceipted in the database view, there are instances where I cannot reissue the receipt, and the donor does not appear in any list including the unreceipted list.

We need a solution to either enable receipt attachments or add functionality in BlackBaud NXT to mark receipts as unreceipted and reissue receipts as PDFs at any point through the donation profile. Currently, the system only allows reissuing receipts via email, and the receipts fail to attach. The recommendation to transition our donation forms to NXT has led to ongoing problems and has created timely tasks, making it less efficient than the database view.

Thank you for the response.

I can't select a campaign in the receipted tab or leave the list open to all new processed donations, the receipted function would be better off on the donor profile so it's click and go.

Thanks for your feedback. You've included two issues here. In order to facilitate more concise voting, I'm going to change the issue description here for your inability to mark receipts as unreceipted.

There is an existing idea for PDF/attached/real-time receipts here: https://renxt.ideas.aha.io/ideas/RENXT-I-5934. Please vote and add applicable comments under that Idea.

In regards to marking a receipt or reissueing a receipt, I checked with some colleagues and it sounds like this IS possible today in Receipt Management.

Today you can get the copy by going to receipt series and selecting to create an audit copy.
You can also mark a gift as unreceipted from the receipt series in Receipt Management. Select the receipt number and select to cancel the receipt and that should mark the receipt as 'not receipted'.
