When NXT gift receipting was originally rolled out, we had the ability to select which columns to view in the "not receipted" tab, similar to other gift lists. But a recent update removed this ability, and we made heavy use of some of those columns to identify which gifts to receipt. PLEASE bring back the option to select which columns are visible!
The ability to add any column to NXT batch would be amazing!!! ESPECIALLY FUND!! Why isn't fund automatically on it??
Yes! I had a huge back and forth with tech support about this. It was SO much better when you could control your column view there. My process which used to include one list and simply checking off certain gifts by sub gift type for different templates now requires me to have 3 separate lists which I have to open and receipt separately. It's a much bigger hassle. Very frustrating that they took functionality AWAY and didn't even tell us.
I have adjusted the title to specifically call out the columns requested.
I did happen to notice that each of the ones selected can be utilized as filters in the centralized Gift list. So, if the intent of displaying those properties is to make sure that gifts receive the appropriate "Email receipt template", I would make a recommendation of building separate Gift Lists for each template you want to use (filtering by Appeal, Payment method, or anything else that might drive that decision). Even though you won't be able to see the properties, basing the List filters off of them will help to ensure the gifts are receipting with the appropriate template (and there will be an added benefit of being able to send many at once - instead of just picking and choosing individual gifts that meet the appropriate criteria).
Please do let me know, however, if I'm missing another reason for displaying that information in the "Not receipted" list itself.
Yes!! Thanks!
Yes, it would be greatly appreciated if this coulod be rectified.
Absolutely! Specifically, the appeal code, batch number, and payment method columns were especially useful to us.
Hey Gabrielle,
Do you mind sharing what columns you are specifically looking for? It is true that we removed the "column selector", but we didn't actually remove any columns. The "column selector" is intended to be used in parts of the product where there are more column options than what can fit on a standard size monitor. In the case of Gift receipting, we were displaying all columns so the column selector was unnecessary. That said, if you let us know what pieces of information you are looking for on that page we can adapt this Idea to focus on that specifically.
Yes, PLEASE.
