Allow users to edit template of gift receipt PDF in NXT
The gift receipt PDF tool in NXT would be exciting except that the provided template will feel impersonal to donors. Will be a much more useful feature once the template can be edited.

Is there no way to set up Gift Receipting in the same way as a Giving Statement? I HATE lists! So user unfriendly! I'd rather select the constituent and produce a Gift Receipt that way. That being said... there's no way to edit or create a template to your specific needs which this function is screaming out for!

yes, we also require the Batch control report, as it's used to consolidate donations received with the daily bank statement - this is an audit requirement for us.

When will the ability to create NEW pdf gift templates be available in RENXT?
In addition to multiple PDF template options, we need the ability to edit "registration number" and the "gift details"
The edit PDF templates is live for gift receipting! However give us the ability to customize the fields and add additional characters to the body! For example "Registration number" should be customizable to say "Tax ID" in the USA.
We are unable to use the e-receipting feature of RENXT without being able to further customize the PDF version much like the customization available for the email
This element is essential to tailor letters and there are always personal notes and exeptions when serving clients.
Yes, being able to edit the receipt PDF will allow organizations to take full advantage of this feature rather than going outside of the product for a workaround. #upvote

I agree! What good is a template if it cannot be edited?
Furthermore, there needs to be multiple pdfs to be used available. It is very limiting to only have one. (and french/english)
