Add salutation as a merge option in emails

The only options currently are first name or preferred name. First name doesn't fit all scenarios as some donors prefer to go by their shortened name Bob instead of Robert and not every constituent has a preferred name listed. Every record has a salutation listed and this would be super helpful when sending emails so we are addressing constituents how they prefer.

In order to send our alumni we need to be able to use Primary Salutation as a merge field. First or preferred name will not work

Yes, we need this too. It is the only way we are able to personalize our emails without having to re-do all our naming formats.

Yes, yes, yes! I don't understand why this was set up the way it was originally. Having a Salutation merge would be so much more helpful than first name or preferred name. OR, having a way for first name to be substituted if there isn't a preferred name on the record.
