At present when sending out marketing emails, the name options are limited to "Preferred Name", "First Name", and "Name". No option is given for a salutation. This means we either have to choose Preferred Name, which will turn up blank if no Nickname has been set, or First Name which is not always how folks prefer to be called. This does not even touch on addressing a couple in an email because some couples do share e-mail addresses. Including salutations as an option would be a clear solution that would make our marketing communications more personal and effective.
