Conditional option for addressee and salutation merge fields in email marketing

We like to personalize emails, but currently in email marketing we can only select one name field. It would be helpful to have a conditional merge option (if/then statement) so that if a constituent doesn't have the preferred name (nickname field) populated, then a secondary choice would populate.

    110% this.


    We like to address emails to a donor's nickname, but now if we select that option, and there is no nickname on their record, it populates as a blank. In the database view, if there was no nickname, it pulled in their first name.


    Make this happen please!!
