Gift Batch Validation Report NEEDED for Batches Approved in NXT

This is not an idea, this a basic requirement for day-to-day operations that needs to added to NXT functionality immediately.

There needs to be a way to view and print a Gift Batch Validation Report (or some new version of that) for gifts that have been Approved through Gifts Management in NXT. We need to be able to print and save these records and transmit them to the Business Office.

NO, A GIFT LIST WILL NOT SUFFICE. Gifts lists do not/cannot include summaries (e.g. numbers of transactions), or totals, and some of the other pertinent details like who authorized the batch, etc.

BlackBaud has been pushing the new Online Donation Forms really hard, and we just updated to start using them. Now we find out that we have to do EXTRA work to give the Business Office what it requires after each Batch is processed. This is disappointing and frustrating.

Not to mention you can not print a batch validation report if there is a recurring gift in the WebView Batch.

I agree. My organization depends on the validation and commit control reports to keep our files in order and to reconcile data on all gifts that come through the business office. This is a necessary feature that should be moved from database to webview.

Yes, we need this for our auditors. The info on the batch confirmation pge is insufficient, as we need to be able to include Gift Subtype, Receipt Amount, and other info on a batch report. Also critical is the user name who created/approved the batch, as our auditors have specifically required a name on batch reports -- not just "NXT System User".

Please do not tell customers to "just try the functionality before it is perfect". Financial checks and balances, and transparency around gift entry, are critical to any organization, and not providing this key report is a really big miss.
