I am used to working in RE database view and entering gifts in batch. According to support, each gift processed on a NXT form goes in an individual batch. This would make gift processing very time consuming.
Hello Kristin,
It appears a new batch is created for each transaction at this time. The donation form feature is fairly new and we would definitely appreciate your feedback by submitting your ideas on our Ideabank (https://community.blackbaud.com/products/raisersedgenxt/ideas) as we continue to ensure the product fits the needs of our organizations.
Please let me know if you have questions. The link below will take you directly to your case on Case Central where you can view your case history or add updates and notes to this case:

Hey Kristin! I'm not totally sure what the support analyst was trying to convey, but it is definitely not true that "each gift processed goes into an individual batch"... If you are manually entering gifts into a batch, you can enter as many as you want into a single batch. If they are coming in from online donation forms, we do automatically generate separate batches for gifts with different dates, processed via different payment configurations, using a different payment method, but that certainly doesnt mean that each gift is in its own batch. On top of that, we've made it really easy to take some (or all) gifts from one (unapproved) batch and move them to another one to aggregate even more gifts into a single batch. I hope that helps!
