being able to mark a constituent code as the primary code on the constituent record

This is would be helpful in NXT. The current procedure to mark a constituent code as the primary is to delete the code from all the records and globally re-add it with the primary box checked. It would make it so much easier if there was a check box for primary code either on the constituent record or in config. (like it is for email and phone numbers).

You can do this already...at least per record, which is the only way to do anything in NXT currently (as far as editing data).

On the Constituent Record, select the [Edit Menu], then [Constituent Codes].  Then click the [Change Order] button.  Put the one you want as the Primary at the top (either click-and-drag or use the nifty [Top] button) and Save until you're back to the record itself.  I believe you also need to be aware of From and To dates, same as in 7.

This is the same as in 7, where you use the [Up] and [Down] buttons to reorder the codes on Bio2.

Any Global Changes will still need to happen in 7, and will need to be done the same as they have been, which is what you describe.
