Make Constituent Code Field (not just Constituent Primary Code) available as an Insight Filter

We have many constituents with multiple constituencies, and instead of determining which constituent code is primary, we look at constituent groups separately - and not additively. So if an alumna becomes a trustee, we still want to look at her giving as an alumna as well as a trustee.  Similarly, we want to include the giving of an alumnus who becomes a parent in both groups.

Another example use case is Volunteers: we'd like to filter insights by Volunteer, which is not a primary code in our system, so it's currently not possible. Echoing other comments that there appear to be a number of duplicate ideas on this topic. Please merge.

Agreed that this functionality would be very useful, please add it to the roadmap

I export data from Donor Category Reports and Comparison & Summary Reports into an Excel sheet and use Excel graphs to mimic the graphs used in insights because I need to report on data by the variety of constituent codes on our records in the format of NXT, but using the analytics of RE7. Our constituents have more than one relationship with our organization.
I wish that NXT was more analytical - unfortunately nobody wants to see tables anymore, and wants me to provide the visuals that comes with NXT. NXT is too simple to use the data in Raiser's Edge, so I have to do everything in Excel. The ability to analyze by constituent code would be a huge time saver, it's something I'm asked for regularly.

PLEASE do this! There are so many insights that I can't create because of the primary code restrictions.

We can't get an accurate count of Alumni giving because if they are also current parents or Trustees, the parent or trustee code is the primary. So I can't get a report of alumni/ alumni reunion year giving that is accurate.

This appears to be the same idea as https://renxt.ideas.aha.io/ideas/RENXT-I-2802. Please consider merging them.

This is most definitely a key element in making insights and dashboards more useful. Hopefully this can be implemented soon.

Yes, for all of the above reasons! I've been banging my head against the wall trying to figure out how to look at insights for just one constituent code regardless if it's primary. i.e., Major Donors. Please fix this! My boss is after me! HELP!

How this is not already a thing is beyond me. We literally can do nothing without being able to filter by ANY constituent code. SO limiting and a huge flaw in Blackbaud's analysis capabilities.

Yes! I know this is a year old, but as a newer user to RENXT I would love to be able to create insights that filter on constituent codes OTHER than just the primary. It is very limiting.

Yes! This is so important. I agree. As a school we look at constituent groups separately. We need to calculate participation for the group.
