Being able to report on only the primary constituent code makes a lot of report builder useless.

At a school constituents often have more than one constituent code. We need to be able to report on their involvement in each group they belong too. Having primary constituent code as the only option in insight builder makes the product useless for many of our reporting needs.

    In non-school settings as well - donors fall under different constituent codes - for example a Board member would also be an Individual. Currently in my organization, we track the geographic area as the primary code, but we really want to track giving by individual, foundation, corporation, organization, government, etc. And also by donor group - board, employee, society members, monthly donors, legacy/planned giving donors. This includes # of donors in each group and also $$ raised by each group. Using the constituency codes on the Insight builder is a great way to do this, especially as we create Dashboards that we can use to present information to leadership.
