We are part of the EAP for Online Express to have Donor Cover; we want to use NXT forms and events but now cannot because of donor cover. This is a huge loss to nonprofits and other platforms have this enabled. RE is not losing money by passing the fees from and org to a donor so why can't they implement this across the board with platforms.

Seriously why hasn't this been taken care of yet? For small non-profit organizations the fees taken out of our donations make a big difference in our overall numbers. Please fix this ASAP your clients have been asking for a very long time now. It's pretty annoying to be honest.

This is a must for the NXT donation form. I see that it is available on NXT Donation Forms through the Early Adopters Program through Complete Cover (https://webfiles.blackbaud.com/files/support/helpfiles/rex/content/donfm_complete_cover.html). As has been mentioned below SmartTHING has SmartDONORCOVER which enables this for OLX. We will not use NXT forms until this is an option.

this is a very important feature for a donation form - without it we wont be able to use the NXT donation form

Please add to both Event Reg and Donation Form.

We lose a lot more money in credit card fees with the Event Reg. We could be helping more people in need.

This feature is essential and we continue to discuss migrating away from NXT because it lacks this capabality.

This should be at the top of the list for planned updates. As we move to the end of the year, the heaviest season for charitable giving, this would be a very helpful feature to have.

Most donation platforms if not all have this feature. Its an embarrassment that RENXT does not.

Yes, please include. We moved to NXT and lost this functionality. Our donors will cover the cost and now we are left covering the fee. Please incorporate it sooner than later.

This currently exists as a plug in from Smart Thing for OLX forms but there is not a way to do it in the NXT form. And the Smart Thing plugin is buggy and took me a LONG time to figure out how to select color options so it would display properly. This should be built directly into OLX as well as a check box option.

YES, please! This is a feature that I have wanted since we acquired Raiser's Edge!!!

I learned this was available totally by chance because I was in an RE webinar that mentioned it. We've been using it ever since and it does make a huge difference. There is a FREE add on through SMARTThings (a great company that offers lo s of options for making RE more usable for free!) called Donor Cover https://www.smartthing.org/demo/smartdonorcover-olx/. You create one line of html code and can add it to every donation form you have in RE and it automatically gives donor option to add the transaction fee.

Pretty sure most of our donors would choose to take on the fee if given the option. One donor emailed me telling me she thinks she missed it and asked me to send her the balance to cover it! How nice, but why should they have to assume they missed the option?!

We just migrated over to Blackbaud from Greater Giving which had this feature. A majority of our constituents pay for the transaction fee. For our largest fundraising event, it saved the organization almost $900.00.... Within one year, 60% of our constituents cover the credit card processing fee. The savings add up to thousands of dollars per year and is critically important as a nonprofit.
