I think our development officers would be more inclined to use Lists if the following fields were available for selection as a Column(s) in the Lists tool:
- Columns
- Constituent ID (this populates when you export to Excel, but I would like for it to show as a column when you create and run a List, too)
- Age
- E-mail (this populates when you export to Excel, but I would like for it to show as a column when you create and run a List, too)
- Phone (this populates when you export to Excel, but I would like for it to show as a column when you create and run a List, too)
- Total number of gifts
- County
- Organization
- Position
- Assigned Date (Date From)
- Giving to Other Orgs (we store this in Financial Information in the Prospect tab)
- Political Giving (we store this in Financial Information in the Prospect tab)
- DonorScape Rating (we store this under Ratings in the Prospect tab)
- College of Graduation (you can select “School Name” in Filters, but it’s not mapped correctly, and even if it was, this isn’t available as a Column)
- Current fiscal year giving
Yes! I see the post is from 2017, and it's 2022, 5 years later, and there are still so many column options missing.
A giving summary in general would be great: The inability to pull a column which isolates giving to a specific fund or a specific date means that I have to pull lists via RE7 every time. My gift officers find this very frustrating, although I understand WHY it's not possible, it just makes the lists nearly useless for us.
Primary Employment" and "Position" are basics that should be included for users whose individual constituents' place of work is often their mailing address (snail mail or email).
It would be great to be able to display more than one phone number on the output file. Thanks.
Bumping this up again - SO many export/column options are missing.
Please separate first and last name so that we can sort accordingly.
Please separate class year (for all constituent types, parents, alumni, grandparents) so that we can sort accordingly upon export.
The "constituent summary" column is absolutely useless as it currently is. We need to be able to "toggle" between that view and a view that separates all of that information into separate columns.
I was asked about this just last week ... as we moved into Q4, our fund raiser Portfolio list would have been much more powerful if the current year total and last year total could be viewed. Looking for LYBUNT opportunities to pursue. I would suggest making those columns configurable for those who prefer a fiscal vs calendar year view (to/from dates would do the job). You'd probably want to also provide filtering by campaign (at a minimum).

YES! To the current Fiscal Year giving! We need this to easily track Board giving for the year!!
