Add "Custom Fields" to Possible Columns on Opportunity LIsts

I would like to add a column to my list of Opportunities including information plugged in on the "custom fields" widget of the opportunity page, unfortunately, that is not an option. On the Constituent list, I can add in custom field information. I would like that same feature on the Opportunity List.

    We really need a spot to be able to get a short comment out of the Opportunities into a List.  The Summary Note, while nice, doesn't output into the list and it also doesn't show up in the dB view side so it can't be exported from there as well.  Gift Custom Fields\Attributes show in Lists, but not for Opportunities (or Actions).  Would solve a big problem for us if Custom Fields could be output.
