The ability to add an Outlook email to an existing action in Raiser's Edge through the plugin. Currently if you create a future action as a reminder/moves plan, there is no way to add the email to this action, through the plugin. You must create a second action when using the Outlook plugin.
This is a very common need for our staff. If you have an action record where you are emailing back & forth with a constituent talking about a single topic, we consider that to be one interaction with them because you're just having a conversation. We want all of those emails to be listed as notes on the same action record, not listed as separate actions. #1: Having them as separate actions is confusing and makes it hard to piece together the conversation (especially if it's interspersed with action records from other staff members). #2: It inflates reporting and makes it look like a staff member is having multiple touchpoints with a client, even if it's really just one conversation.
Yes. This creates a glut of essentially duplicate actions on records.
