Show the Note Author
The notes section on NXT MUST show the note author. When you have multiple people who have contact with a donor, the only way to know who wrote a note is to go into database view. This is critically important if you need to ask the note author a question, get clarification, or to collaborate on reaching out to that donor.

I wrote a considerable note about this that apparently did not pass Post review, trying again. Specifically, in my former note, I referred to the author of Action Notes (within Action, where you add an Action Note). The Notes Author there seems to be tied to the Solicitor on the back end. In other words, if you are listed as a Solicitor and also author a Note, your name will be listed. However, not everyone is a Solicitor (fundraiser) who might enter a note in either the Action tab or the Notes tab. The Notes author needs to be listed.
Brian's comment from Jan. 8, 2020, works on Notes, but does not work on Actions. When in NXT, IF you do the same thing on Actions, you will indeed see the Number of Actions, but not the Note Author. Blackbaud, we need to be able to see the Note Author in both Notes and Actions, the latter of course which would be showing the Action Note author.
Need to see author and timestamp please!
So, you can see the note author, just have to do an extra step, which is annoying. If you click the "number of notes" at the top of the tile, a new NXT screen opens showing the notes and the note author. Seems to be a wasted extra step when you can add the note author to the main tile.
Why has this not been fixed yet? Back in RE7 this was automatically there, so many of my fundraisers did not put their name in the body of the note because the name was already right there. Now viewing record in NXT, we just have no idea who wrote many of our notes.
Open for voting
When we can't see who authored a note or action we're missing context and it makes it difficult to follow up with staff who know more. Another barrier to using the web view and the missing information is frustrating to our fundraisers.
Shocking you can't see who added the note to a record at this point. Simple fix. Should be done by now.
