The author's field in Notes Merged

The author's field is not included when adding a Note or looking at a previously written note in NXT.  Would like to see it added back in.

    Please enable entry of author in Action Notes (we're finding it doesn't bring the author to database view) as well as viewing the author in NXT.

    This idea is marked as shipped, but I think that was for connecting the note's author (when added via the web view) to what's visible in the database view. You still can't see a note or action's author in the web view.

    It's hard to believe these ideas are reviewed and taken seriously when such a simple request is over 3 years old and has not been fixed. If you have any turnover in staff and are reviewing notes/actions, to not be able to see who authored the note/action is a major obstacle.

    This may have shipped . .  but the package never arrived or was sent back.  Currently in NXT note authors are NOT visible.

    Come on NXT!!  We can read notes just fine in NXT, but have NO IDEA who wrote it!  Please please please get that in there.  There are a combined 40+ votes for this idea when you look at the separate "ideas" in the bank!

    Please make the note author visible in NXT.  I don't undrestand why you would want to force people into database view to get this information.

    I agree. NXT Users want to see the Action Notes Author.

    I agree. I would like to see the authors' names in NXT, rather than having to go to the DB view to see them.

    We shipped this with the release on Monday, 5/4/15. It will now store the author field back based on the NXT user. Thanks!
