It would really help to be able to have a beginning date and an ending date for many of our attributes/custom fields.  That way we see a constituent's history with us as well as current issues.  If they asked to be removed from a mailing list, and we delete the attribute/custom field, someone else may ask them to sign up.  It would be better to know they were on it and stopped.
