I wish Custom Fields would have a Start and End

I wish the Custom Fields would have a start and end date just like constituent codes. I'm new to the system and I was trying to narrow down the choices for constituent codes by using more custom fields but the options are not the same.

    YES PLEASE!


    We currently have to add an additional "former" attribute/custom field for certain attributes that require and "end date".


    For historical purposes, having this is important.
