We need our funds to be labeled a certain way for internal tracking purposes, but seeing those names would be confusing for donors. It would be great if Blackbaud would allow us to change the fund names that donors see on the annual statement and portal features. These features would save us a lot of time, but we are unable to use them because they cannot be customized.
I agree, I would like to see this happen. I work at an animal shelter. Donors sometimes want their donation to go to a certain animal - even after they have been adopted! But the donor would hate to see that their donation went into an operation fund and not the animals name.
I wonder if this option would be best configued on the Fund Record itself and then can be inherited through all of the elements (Donation Forms, Receipts, Statments)
