We are considering the conversion of our monthly recurring gifts currently handled via database view (Classic) in a batch to the "automated recurring gifts" via RENXT. The question I have is that once we have gone through the manual conversion of 370+ gifts, will this bundle them into a single batch as it does in classic? My understanding is that it would generate 370 separate gift batches that could be moved (one by one) into an existing batch, but that's not at all what we would want. Even better, if it could smart sort (or allow us to choose the sort type, source, campaign, fund, appeal, card type, amount, etc.) and batch separately that way, then it would truly feel automated. Once converted, my thought was that it would reduce user error/involvement into a few button presses but that doesn't seem to be the case.
