Pledges and Payments should be linked with the constituent and their designated soft credit, to avoid not having the pledge posted as paid when payment is applied.

If a constituent can have their soft credit be attached to a pledge, then the payment for that pledge, no matter if it comes from the constituent or the soft credit person, should be linked.
