Customizable Transaction Details in Email Receipt template

I'm switching to doing our Emailed Receipts in web view (NXT), but finding the template options to be very limiting.

Specifically, there is a field named "Transaction Details". The way it currently work, I am forced to use this field because it's the only way to get the FUND SPLIT DETAILS that my donors need to see. However, this field comes with a lot of information and even text that is not all helpful for us.

The biggest issue for us right now is that it wants to include "Gift type", which for us is always going to say "One-time gift" even though our donors would view these are recurring gifts (we don't use RE's internal recurring gift, they're being imported in from our web giving processor). I should be able at least add or remove some of these fields. Why not just allow each of these fields as separate 'merge' fields in the template? Seems like this should be very easy to add.

Finally, the text that's automatically included is the standard disclaimer language about "No goods or services...". However, since we are a religious organization, the best practice today is to have additional text, "... except for intangible religious benefits". It's nice that Blackbaud is trying to automatically pop out standard IRS-acceptable language... but why wouldn't you give us the ability to edit it? It's just so strange to me that you would have ALL this stuff in a single merge field that's completely take-it-or-leave-it uneditable... and not even provide the various pieces as separate merge field options. Please fix this so we can migrate to using NXT email receipts - since we're being forced out of the database view email receipts in just one month!

We would like to add the appeal name as well.

I'm noticing that this block also does not read very well on a mobile device. The merged fields cause the message to be stretched out. Maybe I'm missing a format fix for this, but it's not great when viewed on a phone.
