It's February 2026 and ridiculous that this isn't fixed 4 years after the original post here. Very frustrated that critical functionality is still not available and makes no sense.

We rely on a gift custom field for our receipts and acknowledgements and would like to see that available in receipting merge fields.

Merge with:

• Enable editing for gift receipt pdf template as a letter word format

• Allow users to edit template of gift receipt PDF in NXT

• Enable editing for gift receipt pdf template as a letter format

• We need additional customization for pdf receipt templates for gifts

• Gift receipting PDF receipt templates need to have more template options

• PDF Receipt Formatting

• Need same ability to create and edit pdf templates in gift receipting like email receipting
