RE NXT does not have the ability to alter the names of funds in the donation form designer, the name would need to be altered on the fund record itself.

Related ideas
We've just released the ability to sort and rename fund names on the donation form. This will be announced in next week's What's New.
To access this, after adding your funds, go to Step 2. Form and select the "Edit" option when you hover over the fund list.
From this screen you'll see all of your funds listed, you can switch between the default name or Set labels, which allows you to enter in a new label for the fund.

What is the timeline for implementing this? We need to be able to custom relabel (and sort) funds on our donation pages. We're currently using OLX forms but want to make a change and are considering using an alternate solution if NXT can't meet our needs.

With the new MasterCard rules for recurring transactions, I want to transition from using OLX forms to NXT forms since NXT significantly streamlines a compliant receipting workflow. However we NEED to be able to re-caption the fund descriptions on the forms. We cannot re-formulate our fund descriptions to be public-facing; it would make our fund code tables unmanageable. And we should not need to. Re-captioning is a feature of OLX so it should have been a feature of NXT forms from the start.
