Revenue Settings for Donation Column In Participant Lists Merged

Allow users to configure what counts as a donation/revenue, OR utilize the received revenue settings in NXT Control Panel. The fact that only cash donations are counted means the were are unable to use the function for accurate reporting and must continue to utilize database view

    That makes complete sense, thank you for the additional information! You are correct that we include pledge payments but not the pledges itself in the Donation and Revenue calculations. I am going to merge your Idea with an existing one asking for more configuration for the Revenue aspects of Event reporting.

    Hi Samantha, thanks for asking! We record pledges as recieved revenue both in our accounting and NXT settings. Excluding pledges for any gift reporting means that none of our reporting is accurate. It's an issue we bump up against in NXT a lot and is unfortunately what keeps us from fully embracing the product. Let me know if there's something else I can add.

    Beth, can you elaborate on what you're seeing? The donation column on the participant list includes any gift that is linked to the participant that is paid. The only thing it excludes is pledges. Gift-in-kind, stock gifts, etc should be included. Do you have an example of a gift type that is specifically missing for you?
