When an action is added via a workflow allow it to be set as complete

Specifically when an email is sent out via a workflow it would be good to be able to set the action to complete since the email has already been sent.

    Having just discovered this 'feature', I concur with the comments below. I thought workflow was meant to reduce the number of manual tasks, not increase them.

    Yes! We set up automated birthday greetings, and now we have hundreds of incomplete actions that we have to clean up each month! Which wouldn't be a big deal except they show up as bright red "Past Due" actions on all the dashboards.

    Totally agree! It makes no sense to not have this as part of the Add Action task within a Workflow

    I totally agree with the proposal. I find it time consuming to go and do it manually by globally changing after all mass mailings. And it's totally unnecessary for the fundraisers to see these Actions as pending in their work centre.
