Add delay to 1st email in workflow

I'd like to be able to add a delay to the first email sent from a gift trigger or list addition. Essentially we'd like to send the first email 10 days after the gift shows up.

    Agree, allowing a time delay condition as the first step of a workflow would be helpful. We would like to have a task to send our newsletter (postal mail) 12 days after the gift is received. That way they get their acknowledgement letter first, and then subsequent communications are spaced out a little.

    Yes! I'd love to be able to allow a 12 month passage after a gift to send a renewal email.
