We haven't received workflow designer yet so perhaps there's a workaround with that, but other email platforms allow you to set up a series of emails contingent on 'triggers' like a new sign-up or clicking a link.
EXAMPLE: a new person signs up for e-newsletter. It triggers a "Welcome" series of 3-5 pre-created emails that introduces the new person to your org (first email is thanks & update your info, second is a promo video, and third is an invite to volunteer projects).
Hello,
I just wanted to clarify, is this something that is almost ready to go and still in the process of being setup? Or, is this fully available as a feature at this point? That would be a huge help for us.
Thanks so much,
Carly
Thanks Kylee!

Here is the link to register for the webinar if you are interested!
Can you provide a link to sign up for the webinar? I can't seem to find it in Training central. Thanks!

Hi everyone. We just shipped a new functionality in RENXT that would allow you to send a series of Emails with Workflow Designer. This means you can create a workflow for new donors, and send them a series of "welcome" emails, per the request above. We do not currently have any type of "trigger" for a new form submit (per the suggestion), but you could create a List for new constituents added to the database. That is something we are considering for the future though as we expand the "Select Criteria" options we have recently added.
This feature is generally available for all RENXT clients, so you should all have access to it right now. Just go to Tools>Workflow Designer. You will create your Emails under Email Marketing, and then just add those emails to a workflow.
If you would like more information on how this new feature works, we are hosting a webinar this Thursday, Aug 13th at 2pm EST that you can register for. If you can't attend, the recording will be available for all registered attendees after the webinar airs. We hope to see you there!
For any feedback you have once you start exploring the feature, please comment in the Community.
I got it today(or was it yesterday). Very excited about the opportunities it allows.
Hi M G- Not yet, but it should be available to all clients very soon. We are just waiting on one final internal approval to go through. Be on the lookout very soon!
Hi Kylee - has this functionality been released to all customers yet? My org is located in the UK / Azure environment.
Hi @crystal Thanks for checking back in on this! We actually just started releasing this functionality in waves last week, so the capability should be coming to you soon!
Hi @kylee , I posted this idea (I'm sure there were others who did too) over a year ago but I haven't seen the functionality, do you know when it will be available? Also, how are people selected for testing groups?
@Kylee that's great! So excited to see this implemented.
Will this be available to everyone who just has NXT?
Hi! Just wanted to let you all know that this is 100% planned with Workflow Designer in RENXT. There will be 2 ways to start a workflow that will automatically add people to the workflow based on your criteria:
1) Create a List in RENXT and choose that list for the workflow, but choose that you want "new people that are added to that list to be added to the workflow". This will make it so that any new constituent that meets that List criteria will automatically get added to that workflow each day. This means that you will have ALL of the filter options in Lists today, and be able to build a "dynamically updating" workflow that uses that list, which gives the options for some pretty powerful workflows. This also means that as we add more list filters, you will be able to use those filters for a workflow as well, which is pretty cool ;).
2) Triggers: These will be "ready to go" triggers that will not require you to build a list. An example trigger you could make would be "everyone that has made their first gift" send them this series of emails. Or "for everyone who has a birthday today" send them a happy birthday email.
Having both of these options available should satisfy quite a few use cases, including the "welcome series" example above, that you would need today, but we will be continuously growing the options to meet all of your needs.
I hope that helps and gets all of you that voted excited for what's coming! Let me know if you have any questions for me about these options. :)
