More options in Workflow Designer!
Would be great if WD could could be a bit more dynamic 'cause it would make life a whole lot easier!
Allow action date option to be some date in the past (right now just current or future)
Allow workflows to be marked as "Completed" with Completed Date at the activation stage (sometimes I use WD to add a bulk action to a list but I want to be able to say the task, like "mailed annual report" is also marked as completed so I don't have to go back in)

For us, it would be great to record in actions that email was sent on that date and mark this action as complete (at least until the information about emails being sent to constituents gets recorded somewhere else which is not the case now). Now we are adding this action as incomplete and have to manually update it later in Desktop view.

Hi! It sounds like you are wanting 2 things:
To be able to add a past date to an Action in the workflow
To be able to "mark this workflow Complete on this date"
Is that correct? For #2 I am assuming you would want this to mark the Actions in the workflow as complete so that they show as completed on the constituent record? Just want to make sure I am understanding that correctly.
One question- What if you had both Actions and Emails in the same workflow, how would you want that "Mark as complete" to work in that case since you can't mark an email as complete? Just trying to think ahead since Email Automation in Workflow Designer will be available for all clients very soon.
