Emails sent through OLX can be added to RE as an appeal for each constituent that we sent the email out to, including details on if the email was received, opened, if the constituent gave, etc. It would be great to see this available in the Marketing: Email module in RE NXT.
This is a critical function of handling appeals in NXT. We are trying hard to move our major functions to NXT, and this is a MUST!

We really need this. We have found that we really need to be able to send to a specific email type. You can do that with the NXT email tool, but not in OLX, which is great! However, we can't push any of the stats into RE if we use the NXT email tool, which is a huge barrier. We're stuck between a rock & a hard place, so to speak.

This is absolutely ridiculous to introduce the Marketing Mail module without this function. It is incredibly frustrating to not have the "add to RE" option to track the email.
Saving as an action would be even better.
It would also be great (both in the NXT email module and in OLX) for this to just push into RE automatically. Even if this was just a configuration you could turn on in case someone doesn't automatically want appeals to push in.
I am actually pretty surprised the NXT email function was rolled out at all without this feature, it is absolutely critical for so many reasons! Agree that at the very least, the ability to export from NXT and import to database would be something...? Please address this as soon as you can Blackbaud! Thank you :)
p.s. this Idea bank doesn't prevent the same idea from being posted multiple times. So this one has 24 votes (as of this comment) but there are at least a handful of others posing the same idea, each with a handful of votes or more. All these votes should be consolidated to understand the full weight of importance of this issue to us Customers!!!
I would add that we need the ability to track which addresses receive hard bounces and to know for which emails constituents unsubscribed. I can display lists of constituents who unsubscribe or have hard bounces but I cannot export those lists. I'm in the unfortunate state of not knowing the status of the emails in my system.
Also agree (third?) that we need to be able to mark records with the choice of either actions or appeals when we send emails out through RE NXT. Online express needs the option for actions as well, for the record.
We absolutely need this functionality ASAP. It's holding back clients from using this functionality because they're unable to "see" what happened once the email was sent.
I second having the ability to choose between appeal and action. If it is saved as an appeal, we really need the ability to change the appeal name before saving it as an appeal. OLX saves the email subject line as the appeal name and that creates a mess for us. Would much rather have it as an action or the ability to name the appeal something other than the subject line.
Yes, need to record the stats of each email sent on each cons records. At least allow export so we can manually get it back into RE. Unusable at the moment, because we would loose all that receipient data if we switched to NXT email marketing. Also, option to use action rather than appeal to record email send. Not all emails expect donations.
