RENXT Marketing: Incorporate "Add this data to RE" from OLX !!!

Guys... I'm not sure how much longer I can go on without this feature. It pains me each time I send an email knowing I either need to not log any Constituent Appeal at all, or will need to wait X amount of days/months to assign it later. My main concern with assigning the Appeal on our own is what will happen to records once this feature does exist, so I'd rather wait... but I've been waiting, and waiting, and waiting... And finally, I'm here. It makes no sense to me that it wasn't rolled out in the initial implementation.

The fact is the new design and features of NXT Mkt are fantastic. The improvements kick OLX to the curb. However, how are we supposed to keep up with what constituents have received without a feature like the "Add this data to RE" button that was in OLX?

I get it, open rates and # of opens will change -- which speaking to that -- it would also be great to have that feature as it was in OLX. Meaning, you can select "Add this data to RE" to be able to record everyone that was a recipient, Response coded as "Received" and when they have opened it, the feature is advanced enough to adjust the Response to reflect "Open" if they opened it. This all happens with the click of the "Add this data to RE" button. Amazing!

There's a lot of power in knowing what donors have received, recently and historically. We are months if not a year behind at this point (since we decided to primarily use NXT Mkt over OLX Email Mkt). I really hope this idea gets implemented sooner than later.

    Has this been resolved?

We agree! We need to be able to add appeal codes to constituent records from RE NXT like we do using the "Add this data to RE" button in OLX.

We are currently developing a work around for messages sent through NXT to be able to capture only actual recipients of the message. Right now that process involves viewing the NXT Email recipient list, saving it as a constituent list in NXT, then saving it as a static query in DBV, THEN globally adding an appeal code in DBV. TOO MANY STEPS!!!
