The way the "receipt amount" automatically populates with the "gift amount," but can be changed if the receipt amount is different—it would be amazing if it worked this way for first name/nickname. It is extra work to complete both fields; however, we NEED this nickname/preferred name field, so as not to offend or appear out to lunch to our donors. (My nickname is Katy, first name Ann: believe me, I am not interested in having any sort of relationship with orgs that send me things addressed to Ann. I am not alone.)
