would be great if you could reinstate the top line in the results list being active/default choice that would be chosen by hitting enter; now i have to first hit the down arrow, then enter

Sorry for the inconvenience! Maintaining the search term change has been removed now so it will behave like it previously did. This change was part of a larger effort to fix a previously requested search idea to remove the focus on the first item. That caused folks issues when hitting enter immediately following typing but before the search had fully executed. That change is still in place.

Search tab keeps the last search and we need to clean it first before typing again. I use a lot of copy/paste and know I cant because the last search stays there!
