Customizing location of navigation and colors

With the new washed out look of RENXT web view and the move of navigation links to the left panel, it would be beyond helpful to have an ability to customize the layout. The ability to go back to the "classic" look would be nice. Adjusting contrast & color scheme would also be helpful (I almost went to support because I did not see right away the coin stack to access db view --the icon is so small and the colors are so washed out).

Yes, there does need to be some color differentiation.

      Thanks

The brightness of web view since the navigation change is painful. Please adjust the colors or allow a dark mode. I have to adjust my screen just for NXT and adjust it back for everything else. I also adjust the screen resolution for database view and am surprised that Blackbaud continues to have issues with the look of their product affecting users.

I have steadily progressive vision issues and at this point I will need to test screen readers. I've tried all of the accessibility option available but none of them affect or improve NXT viewing for me. It's not even impacted by dark mode which would be a welcome reprieve. I agree that this could not have been tested with anyone who has accessiblity needs which is very concerning.

Agree! I do not like the left-hand navigation at all - much prefer the top navigation/dropdown view. I did not see this post earlier and I just added a similar "idea" -would very much like to have the option to choose our navigation view or just go back to what it was! I do not see how this new version is better.

Contrast is imperative. Even similar to the way ResearchPoint looks would be an improvement.

Customization is very much needed. Just changing browser settings is not sufficient for users who struggle to differentiate between the shades of gray and blue (that may as well be gray). The washed out appearance makes it difficult to navigate.

Just got the update this morning and I'm extremely disappointed in not only the appearance but the change in grouping. Why remove the list tab to break it up? Doesn't seam like a well thought out concept at all. Like the old saying goes "If it ain't broke- don't fit it!"

OMG yes! Color schemes especially. All that white works on paper, but not on screen it causes eye fatigue.

Agree that it should be customisable to suit all users.

The colors are very aesthetic but not the most user-friendly. Please allow us to adjust them

Given the concerns that many people are expressing, I am curious to know if the new layout was tested with a diverse cross-section of users. Was there an EAP or focus group? I NEVER hear about those so I suspect not. Please take feedback from your customers seriously, and offer some of the refinements suggested in this thread.

Yes, very washed out and not easy to read.

I don't have the new sidebar yet but I totally agree about the colors. They are hard to see and I wonder if they are ADA compliant for people with vision issues.
