The new Email Opt-in Option is helpful, but in a very limited way. It eliminates the need for a BB support rep to be involved in repetative requests to remove a previous opt-out, but it leaves a singificant repetative onus on our end.
The process sends a generic email that becomes a likely spam message (it went to my junk folder with a subject message that was suspicious) and it contained a single-use personalized link for an individual email address. This requires us to enter every opt-in request individually, and explain to our constituents that the email response may be flagged as junk and to look for it and take ANOTHER sction to resolve the opt-in.
Please consider the following change:
Allow for a sharable link that we can point our constituents to that enables the opt-in request. We'd like to use multiple approaches (print & email newsletters, webpage, stewardship communications, etc.) to post a link our constituents can reference to effect the opt-in in a self-sufficient manner without requiring follow up steps for each request.
