BlackBaud should change the wording when asking donors for 10% processing fee.

In "BlackBaud Pays" the wording being used by BlackBaud when they ask a donor for a 10% processing fee, after the donor makes a gift, makes it seem as though it is the organization asking for the 10% rather than BlackBaud.


"Transaction fees are an industry-wide standard for processing online payments. Will you give a little extra to ensure we get free processing with Blackbaud?"


the statement seems to be inferring that the foundation/school/etc. is the one asking for the 10% rather then BlackBaud. It is misleading.

    Absolutely! It is a shady practice and I hope that they fix it. When I spoke to a BB rep, they stated it would only be removed if 100% of their customerbase voted on it.
