Reorder Constituent Codes in Import

Currently, the knowledgebase advice for globally/mass changing the order of constituent codes is to download the codes, delete all codes for the constituents in question, edit the codes in Excel, and then reimport them in the order you want them.

Clearly, Raiser's Edge in the backend uses a rating order to tell the system which code is primary - it should be as easy as a number you can export to see, change and re-import.

For example:

John Doe has 3 Constituent Codes: "Major Donor", "Board Member" and "Friend of Friends". Currently, the order of the codes in his profile is (1) Major (2) Board (3) Friend. I want to be able to export as CSV with the Constituent Code Import ID AND a Constituent Code Order ID that would look like :

Name - Con Code ID - Con Code Order ID - Con Code Type

John Doe - XXXXXXX - 1 - Major Donor

John Doe - XXXXXXX - 2 - Board Member

John Doe - XXXXXXX - 3 - Friend of Friends

and re-order it and re-import it like such :

Name - Con Code ID - Con Code Order ID - Con Code Type

John Doe - XXXXXXX - 2 - Major Donor

John Doe - XXXXXXX - 3 - Board Member

John Doe - XXXXXXX - 1 - Friend of Friends

To simplify the re-ordering process globally. The fact that the lapsed donor cycle relies heavily on primary constituent codes to determine segmentation means this segmentation should be easier to control.
