Allocate Grants (Opportunities) Across Funds

We benefit from numerous large multi-year grants. These grants can contain funds for various purposes (several programs we represent with Funds as well as unrestricted funding) . The date range also doesn't align with our fiscal year. We use Opportunities to enter and track grants through to award. We want to be able to enter an opportunity, then allocate the amount (expected amount?) across multiple funds; ideally add grant date ranges as well and split the grant across multiple years. Split Gifts does not solve our issues and we do significant manual reporting monthly.

Echoing Leigh, we need the ability to enter multiple funds and multiple purposes on a single opportunity. Often multi-year grants encompass 2 or more funding areas with different funds and campaigns. We utilize split gifts all the time so it would only make sense that we would be able to forecast split gifts via multi-purpose opportunities as well. Allocating proposed/expected amounts would provide a better sense of how projected funds are designated. We need to be able to report on opportunities with multiple purposes and funds to be able to accurately forecast incoming revenue.
