We often have both spouses who would like to receive our enews and other emails but don't necessarily need or want to create a constituent record for everyone. We'd like to be able to include those spouse emails to a marketing email list. And even when the spouse does have their own record, we have to pull the list we want to email, export the list with heads of household separate and create a new query using the constituent ID's of both spouses. Quite a work-around.
PLEASE. Having to send 2 emails for every one email, so spouses can get the email as well, is annoying extra work. I can't believe this original idea was from 2020 and this STILL hasn't been implemented.
Since Blackbaud charges for the quantity of constituents, we limit adding spouses as constituents. However, a lot of times both spouses want to receive the communications so it would be helpful to be able to have the NXT emails sent to non-constituent relationships. Or at least those coded as the Spouse.
This. Please. What a PITA it is to always have to come up with a workaround.
This should be implemented right away
