Add City and State as sortable columns in Constituent Lists

We often filter our donors by geographical location, so it would be great to be able to filter the Portfolio and Constituent lists by the city or state of the preferred address.

With staff assigned by region but managing their work by state, having the ability to sort lists by state would be a major step forward.

Agree with the comments here and elsewhere - need a "State" column in search result lists please!

The new ability to filter by state is a great improvement, but it doesn't respond to the need to sort lists by state.  This will only happen when we have the option of a "State" column in lists.

I agree with Heather! We have a nationwide donor base, and our gift officers need to be able to see a daily/weekly list of active donors in their assigned region (each of which spans several states), and this is simply not possible for them to build in NXT right now. It's a major missing feature, and the map function doesn't cut it.

Filtering by city and state is a basic need for our organization. Because our gift officers can't filter on city or state, I created static queries of all their assignments by state. However that's an imperfect solution because the queries are static and have to be updated. Please prioritize this idea.

I don't know that my development officers and other team members would actually get on here and vote, but I will say that all seven of the people I had in training today would love that. When we search for First Presbyterian Church, it's a nightmare!

And not forgetting the international clients, by outward-half of UK postcodes, etc.

It would also be helpful to see city and state on gift lists as well. Really any of the lists or "Work Center" tables. I've been using the gift lists to review recent gifts over a certain amount, so that I can assign Development Officers to thank. But I have to go into each record to see where they live (since our Development Officers are responsible for particular territories).
