At my organization, portfolios are based on regions. If I want to travel to a particular area, it would help to be able to prepare a list of those who are in those states as I consider/plan my trips.
You have quite a few options here for filtering by addres, including state or even drawing your own regions. One very cool implementation is that you can go to the Unassigned list in the work center (for people not assigned) and then filter by location or map. Then you can use the group assign functionality in the "list view" of that tab and select whatever constituents you want to assign to fundraisers en mass.
I would like to pull regions and also counties in creating lists. Trip planning would be so much easier, as well as Alumni gathering events.
