Sort Custom Fields by Date (or other criteria) Merged

It would be easier to spot and find what you are looking for instead of reading through them all

    This was originally asked for in 2017 and something that sounds very uncomplicated to do still has not been approved for addition.  Arrrgh!

    And if you can't sort then it would be nice if there was a way to search the custom fields to more easily find what you might be looking for.
