Expand NXT marketing email recipient capability

Enable the ability to select relationship record to send emails in NXT marketing. Expand beyond constituent record, i.e. spouse, option to choose organizational contact. The inability for us to do this requires us to use another platform to send targeted emails. This is a must!

    This is similar to RENXT-I-9101

This is key for us. We are not able to send personalized emails to both individuals and organizations because the merge fields available and email recipient capabilities limit our ability to do so. We have had to completely stop personalizing our email messages, or send separate messages to individuals and organizations - with the org name rather than contact name - in the greeting.

This is such a frustrating limitation of email marketing, and I am working with a new customer who is astonished that this is not possible. It is a step backward from OLX.

Use case: Many constituents have non-constituent relationships that should receive email such as spouses or organization contacts. The only option is to create a constituent record for for them, which is simply not necessary. An alternative is to set up different email types, such as "spouse email" or "contact email" so that communication can go to everyone necessary without forcing customers to increase the number of constituent records.

Please prioritize this functionality over some of the newer features in webview. Those are going to be great when the core product works as it needs to.

Since Blackbaud charges for the quantity of constituents, we limit adding spouses as constituents. However, a lot of times both spouses want to receive the communications so it would be helpful to be able to have the NXT emails sent to non-constituent relationships. Or at least those coded as the Spouse.

It is extremely limiting to not be able to send to organizational contacts (plural!), or multiple emails for for a constituent at the same time.

I end up sending the email twice -- once to the preferred email, and then a second time to Spouse email. I cannot make separate constituents of these people! Why not just have a check box of the various email types and voila!

YES!!! THIS! I've been told they won't do it b/c they want everyone to have a constituent record including spouses. We will never do that. So we have to use an outside email marketing tool.
