Ability to designate that spouse gets soft credit in NXT
When I add a new constituent, it is such a pain to have to go to database view to make sure that spouses automatically are soft credited for spouse gifts. It would be so much easier if that was a field we could enter in NXT.

Merged I noticed that my RE rule to automatically check the "soft credit this spouse" does not work in NXT and also that there is no option to enable that in NXT for spouse's, individuals and organizations. Will this be added soon?Shipped

Merged Currently for each spousal relationship this has to be done manually. Create a setting where spouses can be automatically soft credited for their spouses gifts when added. Or make it an option when adding the spouse on the main page.Shipped

Yes!!! This is showing as Shipped but is NOT currently happening. The record is being created but the gifts are not brought over to the surviving spouse record. When can we expect this to actually work?
In database view, when a constituent is marked deceased and their non-constituent spouse is upgraded to a full constituent, there is an option to have all previous gifts automatically soft credited to the surviving spouse's record. It would be beyond helpful if this functionality is also included in NXT as soft crediting dozens or hundreds of gifts to a surviving spouse upgraded to full constituent is very time consuming.
