The only accurate way to track Volunteer Committees and Board participation is through the database view Volunteer Type, general info. Type, Status, Start Date and End Date. None of this information is viewable in the Volunteer Tile in NXT webview, which defeats the purpose of webview as an easy tool for fundraisers to be able to see main information about their donors. The few things that are viewable in the Volunteer Tile (interests, availability, and timesheets, latest and first job assignment) are not appropriate for commitee roster participation information. This has been complained about for years, and I see no reason why it should not be viewable in webview. Any other work arounds are insufficient and messy. Using Attributes only contains 1 date field, so you can only capture a start OR an end Date, not to mention you start accumulating a very long list of Custom Fields on an NXT record. Using constituent codes creates a huge task of accurately maintaining these over the years. Using memberships is not at all how that functionality of RE was meant to be used. It already exists in Volunteer, so make it viewable in RE NXT.
