The goal meter option is on the optimized forms directly, whereas we have to embed (only option) the goal meter component on a website for the standard form. We would like to have the goal meter directly added to the standard giving form. We are using many short links and QR codes for quick access to a giving form to minimize the number of clicks for the donor. However, we want them to see the goal meter when they are making their donation. We need the ability to add the goal meter to the standard giving form itself.

I'd like to add that many of our departments do not have access to edit the code of our websites, so we cannot use the embed feature at all. The website components should be included within the Standard Donation Forms, especially the goal meter.

I would like to second this. Making it a part of the form instead of a separate component, making a piece where we can manually add checks and cash to the form without relying on a list, and if that is not possible, making it so that the goal meter recognizing split gifts! It currently doesn't recognize split gifts within the list and will pull the entire gift amount into the thermometer even if you tell the list only one specific appeal.

It would be helpful to merge check and cash donations with online donations for real-time giving especially on days like GivingTuesday instead of having to choose between Donation Form or Gift List when designing the goal meter. We are a small community with an aging population where some large donors prefer to give by check rather than give online and we want their donations to be included along with online gifts.

Additionally, it would be great if goal meters worked the same way they do in OLX - tied to a specific form. NXT forces you to create a gift list which will by design only include committed gifts. So short of committing batches constantly, there is no way to have an updated counter.
