Right now when entering batches in RE NXT, "split gift" only allows for a gift to be split between multiple appeals, funds, etc. I think it would make a lot more sense to include an option to split a single gift between multiple constituents, as in the case when you receive a check from a pass-through agent like YourCause and the check is for an aggregate amount from multiple donors. The donors all deserve full credit for their portion of the check amount, but right now I can only give them soft-credit for their portion.
