Need to be able to sort gifts in NXT batches

NXT batches are useless right now with their inability to sort. I have so many exceptions and I have to scroll through thousands of gift lines to find them.

Also, NXT batch could send all the exceptions to another batch to be approved and fixed.

NXT is also very slow when your batch is thousands of lines of gifts.

Please make it possible to sort within an NXT batch via EACH row whether it be sort by status so exceptions appear on the top or sort by date so you can sort it.

NXT needs more work on it to be as good as database view but I believe a simple sort would be possible since we can sort batches by status on the first page but not sort inside batches to sort gifts.

Thanks!

for some reason if you save and return to the gift batch in NXT it jumbles all the rows- they do not reman in the order that they were entered! Need to be able to sort and also need to be able to keep the order you have chosen when you save the batch.

I strongly support this request: to be able to sort gift batches on NXT web view

We would also like the opportunity to sort by constituent name (Last Name) as requested by our finance office. If I click on constituent, it sorts by first name, which isn't helpful for our purposes.

I am hesitant to use the webview for recurring gift batches because of what the person above said. Database view kicks out a batch of exceptions if requested so I can act on getting new card information. I don't see anyway to do this in webview.

Also, in database view there is a built-in report to pull the names of people with cards that did not process that month as scheduled. I don't see any way to do this in webview.

Another complication is that individuals setting up a recurring gift on our new NXT giving site automatically have their card charged the next month on the date of their first gift. This means they can be double charged when running your monthly gift batch if their scheduled date is after the day you run your batch.
